Why AdWords Shopping Ads?

Datafeed Analysis

Google AdWords Shopping Setup & Management

Shopping Audit +

We review your Shopping campaigns and datafeed to identify all the quick win opportunities and also provide a longer term plan for ongoing growth.

Product Pages +

We review your website and Google Analytics data to highlight possible anomalies that could limit the effectiveness from the outset.

Competitor Research +

We research your competitors advertising presence to learn where they are getting the most traffic from.

Shopping Settings +

We configure the bidding strategy that best fits your products and advertising goals.

Shopping Structure +

We organise your campaigns in a retail-centric view of your products. Initially we organise your shopping campaign by Google category, retail brand or product type. Then we subdivide further using the product attributes that is most meaningful for the products you offer. We may also use custom labels depending on the number of products. Finally we set bids at the product ID/SKU level based on the return on ad spend.

Manage Data Feed +

We complete a quality check on your current data feed for Google Merchant Centre. If you don't already have a data feed, we build and optimise this using our Shopping Data Feed Manager. All we require is an xml url of your product catalog, and we can add in both missing mandatory and optional product attributes not updated in your shopping cart.

Google Analytics +

Track sales using Google Analytics e-commerce from all traffic sources including AdWords.

Revenue Tracking +

In order to manage and improve the campaigns, we use conversion tracking to record sales revenue with AdWords. This customer conversion data is then used to optimise Google Shopping.

Sales Reporting +

Scheduled weekly and monthly reports showing  your company’s total sales revenue and costs. SKU/Product ID sales reports showing ROI by product. Each report is taken directly from your AdWords and Google Analytics accounts and shows performance comparisons over time.

Bid by SKU/ID +

Shopping campaigns can be organised using a hierarchical structure of product attributes. For example, segment by Google Category, Product Type or Brand then subdivide by other product attributes to provide a retail-centric in line with your website and/or catalogue.

The final sub-divide will be product ID/SKU which makes it easier to bid by product ROI instead of by category.

Search Term Analysis +

We analyse the search terms your ads appear for and optimise them for higher conversions.

Exact Match Negatives +

Google Shopping does not use keywords, and therefore has no match type other than the default broad match. We set up exact match negative keywords combined with standard broad match negatives to ensure your ads don’t appear for irrelevant searches on Google. This boosts your CTR and gets your product adverts into more competitive auctions.

Campaign Expansion +

Expanding your campaign to cover more searches and providing a higher ROI is the cornerstone of our service.

AdWords Shopping Features Summary

Google Shopping uses product titles (and other product attributes) for targeting ads to search terms instead of the traditional keyword targeting used by text ads. Product listing ads (PLA) show the searcher a picture of your product, with the price and your store name before clicking. After clicking on the product listing ad the searcher is sent to that product page on your website.

Run text ads with search campaigns and Shopping PLA ads to increase sales volume. Both text and product listing ads can appear for the same search and take over more space on the search results page. Traffic from product listing ads can more qualified and therefore have a higher conversion rate.

Google Merchant Center is used for uploading your shop and product data to Google in order to make it available to Google Shopping and other Google services such as dynamic ads across the display network.

Google Search Console (previously Google Webmaster Tools) is a no-charge web service by Google for webmasters. It allows webmasters to check indexing status and optimise visibility of their websites. As of 20th May, 2015, Google rebranded Google Webmaster Tools as Google Search Console.

Track e-commerce sales in Google Analytics by traffic source and medium to measure return on investment.

.We target past website users as they search for products with related searches, as well as people that are similar to your past website visitors.
